Dual Nozzles, More Than One? Creality’s New Machine Suspected Leaked

Recently, a netizen “accidentally” posted two photos in a community group of what appears to be a new Creality machine. From its appearance, the device is clearly a dual-nozzle 3D printer—or more accurately, potentially a version 2.0 of the SPARKX i7.

Similar photos actually surfaced online as early as a year ago. However, a comparison shows that while both feature a dual-nozzle structure, the two machines are distinctly different models.

In other words, Creality likely has more than one new dual-nozzle machine in the pipeline.

According to the leaked images, the left extruder of this new machine is integrated within the print head (direct drive), while the right extruder is mounted on the chassis (Bowden). This indicates a hybrid solution combining direct-drive and Bowden extrusion.

Regarding dual nozzles, many might assume this is Creality’s first foray into such hardware. In fact, Creality launched the Sermoon D3 Pro as early as 2022. However, due to its high price point and focus on the industrial/professional rather than the consumer market, it remains relatively unknown to the general public.

Technically, dual-nozzle 3D printing is not a “new” technology. Around 2013, then-leading brands like MakerBot and Ultimaker had already introduced similar models.

Nevertheless, in our view, dual nozzles may only be the “appetizer” for Creality’s upcoming roadmap. If the company intends to maintain its current market leadership, it will likely need to launch a true multi-toolhead (tool changer) 3D printer.

As for how long we have to wait? The answer may be: not much longer.
